The Psychology and Counseling Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as the national professional body responsible for promoting mental health, represents nearly 90,000 members holding master's and doctoral degrees in psychology, counseling, and related disciplines. One of the Organization's primary missions is to enhance the knowledge, professional development, and research capacity of mental health professionals by promoting innovative scientific research and providing an appropriate platform for scholarly activities.
As part of this mission, the Journal of Mental Health Promotion was established to facilitate the dissemination of high-quality scientific research and contribute to the advancement of mental health knowledge and practice.
The journal has received official authorization from the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran as well as a publishing license from the Press Supervisory Board of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, authorizing it to receive, review, and publish scholarly articles within its scope.
Supported by the distinguished members of the Psychology and Counseling Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the journal provides an important scientific platform for disseminating research in mental health. It particularly welcomes manuscripts arising from research projects conducted by universities, academic institutions, government ministries, public organizations, and other official bodies whose studies require interdisciplinary expertise in various areas of mental health.
